When you look this good pregnant, it is easy to understand why Ramona is having her third baby! She already has two adorable girls, Sophia (4) and Ella (19 months) and she is expecting her third girl at the end of July. Please pray for her and all pregnant ladies during this extreme heat wave in Alberta!! We tried to keep it as cool as possible during the shoot and had a lot of fun with the “wind machine”.A quick peek at Sophia with mom during our 2010 maternity shoot. So cute!!

And look at her now! It is easy to see why she is Urban Infant 2012 Summer Edition cover model!!

Ella is still pretty camera shy, but we were able to capture this image of her showing me just where her baby sister is.This baby already has an awesome sense of humor!Sophia quite enjoyed the wind machine :)

Here’s how we had fun waiting for baby in 2010.And this is version 2012. To be continued………..very soon.
A quiet moment alone.

Love the belly kisses. See you soon baby!

Imrie (15 months) was visiting all the way from Ottawa for Easter. He came by the studio for a fun morning filled with bubbles and balloons. The natural light was gorgeous that day and it really showed off how beautiful this little man’s skin and eyes are!“Wonder”.I have yet to see a boy as happy with balloons as Imrie :)And bubbles? He was crazy happy for them!Waiting to try and catch one.I love how captivated he is with this bubble. Nothing else mattered to him at this moment in time. But when it was over, it was really over. As a mom, I have seen this face on my own boys and I love it!

Many of you will not know this, but my husband is a very talented photographer. He specializes in black and white, long exposure, landscape photography, and his work is exceptional. Today is a proud day as his image “Covergance” is 1 of 6 pieces Recommended for Aquisitions for Strathcona County’s Permanent Art Collection. Upon acceptance, his work will be hung in one of the county buildings in Sherwood Park.

I am proud to share this with you as my husband, and his passion for photography, is the reason why I picked up a camera in the first place. He has been very instrumental in helping me get to where I am and encouraged me to be unique and genuine with my own work. He is a self taught photographer and photography is one of his creative outlets. He finds that “taking these types of images to be very calming almost meditative.” For the viewer he hopes that his images “provide that same calming and contemplative state and help provide a short escape from day to day life.”

For your own escape, and see more of his work, you can visit his Etsy shop here.

Congratulations Tino! We are all very proud of you.
