We are not a military family, although you’d question that last statement if you saw our basement toy room. My two boys love everything about guns. Guns that light up, make realistic sounds, don’t make sound, ones that are broken, rapid fire, single bullet, fashioned out of lego (or a stick, or just about anything), I could go on but you get the idea. ┬áMy youngest is also into wearing the appropriate costume to make it feel super authentic. We will be celebrating his 4th birthday army style and these are just a few images from his ARMY mini session (one he willingly participated in :)

I am so excited to introduce themed mini sessions each month. These are 30 minute sessions your kids will LOVE because they are geared towards what THEY love, and what’s important to them at this stage in their childhood. As an added bonus, there are no “session fees” which make these mini sessions super affordable.

Join the troops and celebrate all things military Saturday March 22, 2014. Space is limited to 4 spots, email me stephanie@stephaniepasutto.com to reserve one today.

PS Subscribers to my digital newsletter KID AWESOME hear first about upcoming mini sessions. Get on that list by subscribing here.

This year I am adding themed mini sessions each month. The Tiny Dancer Mini session is the second themed session I’ll be hosting this year. I am more of a dance like no one’s watching kinda girl than a graceful ballerina, but I think these mini sessions will be super fun (and I may even learn a move or two.)

If you have a blooming ballerina or serious dance machine on your hands, join me on Saturday February 22nd and let’s capture that special spirit.

I have many more mini sessions lined up and release the info and dates in my monthly digital newsletter KID AWESOME. Subscribers get first access to all upcoming promos and mini session information so subscribe today.

“Family is not an important thing, it’s everything.” – Michael J. Fox

We are so lucky in Alberta to have a day dedicated to the celebration of family. Not that you need a day to celebrate how lucky you are to be surrounded with love, but sometimes it’s a nice reminder. There is going to be a lot of love as the Family Day weekend starts on Valentines Day.

Join me in studio on Saturday February 15th for a lovely family session celebrating you.

Space is limited, email me to reserve a spot.

I can’t put my finger on it, but 2014 has a different feel for me. A good feel. Like this is going to be a great year feel. With the start of every new year, I set out to make resolutions. Some have long since expired (yes I know it’s only day 15, I’m weak), and some are still going strong. I made a commitment to myself to capture an image every day of 2014, my own Project 365, and I’m happy to tell you this is one resolution I will work my butt off to keep going.

Capturing the image is really only part 1 for me. At the end of each month I want to print my images and document our family’s experience in an album to give to my boys at a later date. I am not a scrapbooker, but I LOVE me some paper, and the Project Life kit (Day 3) is exactly what I needed to get started. I picked mine up at Michaels and just love the design elements and can’t wait to get started. Stay tuned for Part 2.
