I LOVE birthdays, and there is no better way to celebrate the very first one than with a cake smash!

I am so excited to start offering cake smash sessions in 2014 on select Monday mornings each month. Each session will include a 30 minute photo session with me and 12-15 images (including a collage) on USB drive for $250. For an additional $145 we will spend 15 minutes (before we get messy with cake and icing) capturing your child at this very special age. From this session you will receive an additional 5 images on USB. These images are wonderful keepsakes and perfect for use in birthday invitations. Email me to learn more about these special sessions and details on upcoming dates.

One of the greatest gifts I gave to myself was learning how to use a camera. Documenting my family as we grow and change, & capturing those moments is something I will cherish a lifetime.

I want to share this knowledge with you.

Shine 365 is a photography 101 class and was made for just for you. Whether you are just starting out or have some experience behind the lens, this workshop will help you start taking better images of your family today. We will meet twice at my home studio, once to learn how to use the camera and once again to go over any spots that are still giving you trouble. We will also meet up various times during the year for playdates so we can continue to practice and work on our newly learned skills with our kids. I am going to limit the amount of seats available to 8 during each session so everyone has a chance to ask as many questions and get the most from our time together. Our first workshop is on February 8th. Email me now to take advantage of this workshop and learn to love your camera.

With the new year now just a few days behind us, it’s time to start looking at the month ahead. I have a mini session planned for each month this year and this month we will be celebrating all things “LOVE”. The Valentine Mini sessions were a hit last year and I’ve got a few new props this year I’m super excited about. No sneak peeks though ;). I’ve increased the session time from 20 to 30 minutes to give your little love bug all the time they need. Also, included with your session are 5 images on USB drive and 48 Valentine wallets for your child to hand out at school and give to friends and relatives.

Happy New Year!!

I REALLY am excited to start the new year. I have such a good feeling about 2014 and have many changes in store for STEPHANIE PASUTTO PHOTOGRAPHY.  One of the changes I am most excited about is the introduction of colour images. When I started my photography business in 2010, I processed all of my images exclusively in black and white. I love the simplicity and emotion that is conveyed in a black and white image, and I am excited to bring that same feel to my colour images.

Another change I’m excited about is my monthly digital newsletter – KID AWESOME. Subscribers to this magazine will receive exclusive content and be first to hear about upcoming mini sessions and promotions. Get yourself on that list here. And to take a peak at the current issue, click on the image below.

And like the start of all new years, I have made some resolutions. One of my main ones is to take more pictures of my boys and family. I have committed myself to capturing an image every day in 2014. And further to that, I’m going to document it. Taking the picture is really only half of the battle (and a really small half at that). I so appreciated when my mom passed on my childhood photo albums and realized I currently could not do the same thing for my own boys. Yes I take a lot of pictures of them, but I am super guilty of leaving them on my phone and saved into folders on my desktop. The technology used to store my images will most likely be obsolete when they are ready to move out and then what? Join me on this resolution and challenge yourself to take more pictures and print them. I will share how I’m going to do it soon, so get your camera ready and get snap happy with me!
